The Zaka Podcast Presents: My Journey by Neelu Kaur

From the podcast write-up:

In this episode, Neelu Kaur shares her immigrant story. After moving with her parents to the USA at a young age with only $75, she grew up in a traditional Indian culture that valued the collective "we" over the individualistic "I". Advocating for herself and acknowledging her own accomplishments was incredibly uncomfortable. It is a struggle shared by many immigrants working in Corporate, and Neelu is on a mission to empower all individuals with the tools to become effective self-advocates both in their professional and personal lives.

Her professional challenges led her to become a Facilitator, Author, Speaker, and Executive Leadership Coach. She talks about how to own and express our worth, leading to happier, healthier employees and more innovative, competitive organizations. Her clients include Google, Credit Karma, RBC, Sony Music, Deloitte, IPG, and EY.
